This will help you to believe

As we continue our life creation journey with the Law of Attraction, there are indispensable elements we need to work with to bring our vision into reality. These elements include intention, focus, and determination. However, there is one vitally important thing that underpins these three elements and more. It is Belief. 

To understand more about belief and how it helps us in our manifestation process, let’s have a quick look at the nature of the mind. The mind is naturally dynamic, it moves. This is what it is designed to do, and it does it very well; at times, almost too well! The dynamic, moving nature of the mind can be a liability, particularly if we have just one thing we want to strongly focus on and manifest, like a new job, for example. 

The untrained mind is fickle, it moves quickly from one thing to another. In the teachings of yoga, this kind of mind is often likened to a monkey. This “monkey mind” jumps from here to there, never staying in one place for very long. It is lightning fast, unpredictable, and often full of mischief!  So, how do we deal with our monkey mind? We need to train it. We need to find a way to focus it on one point over and over again. And this is where belief comes in: belief creates and intensifies focus.

When we believe in something, we naturally begin to focus on it; we give it our attention, our energy, our love. Belief helps us to form a focal point for our creation, and this focus grows naturally over time as we believe more and more. Through belief, we are actively working with the mind and making it a valuable ally in our creative life process. Goodbye, monkey mind. And hello, focused belief and intention! 

But what if we still don’t believe? Do we still have our doubts about the Law of Attraction? Here are five powerful pointers that we can work with to help us believe:

  1. Believe in the best outcome. 

Instead of habitually thinking negative thoughts: “This is not working; this is not happening as it should,” replace the negative beliefs with positive ones: “This is working; this is happening exactly as it should.”

  1. Believe the universe is delivering. 

Be observant. Look for signs, however small, that you are in the flow of creation. It could be a song, words from a friend, some well-timed advice from a co-worker. Be attentive and notice signs that you are manifesting your goal.

  1. Believe you can do it and take action.

Sometimes on the surface things don’t seem to be happening yet. Have no fear! Believe in your intention. Even if things seem to have gone quiet, it doesn’t mean the creative process is not happening. Believe in it, and take steps towards the goal, no matter how small. Don’t let fear that the task is too big paralyse you. Taking small steps every day towards our goals encourages us and begins to reinforce positive manifestation habits like steadfastness and discipline. Instead of sitting on the couch and feeling like nothing is happening, take positive steps to make dreams come true. 

  1. Believe in the power of gratitude. 

Acknowledge things as they happen and thank the universe when things start to take shape. It can be easy to take things for granted, but it’s always a good idea to remember that the universe appreciates “appreciation”. One definition of appreciation means gratitude or thankfulness, but appreciation can also mean an increase or rise in value. This is a Law of Attraction truth: What we focus on with thankfulness increases.

  1. Believe in miracles big and small. 

If we are having a difficult time believing, then why not believe in the power of the universe to deliver miracles? This way, life becomes a miraculous adventure, and we open ourselves up to infinite possibilities. Life is never boring when we open ourselves up to the possibility of miracles big and small. 

Try these five pointers, and see how they make life a fun experiment, an adventure of joyful creation! 

  1. Believe in the best outcome. 2. Believe the universe is delivering. 3. Believe you can do it and take action. 4. Believe in the power of gratitude. 5. Believe in miracles big and small.
